The TopScan Pro carries 13+ service functions; the TopScan Master steps up to 30+ service functions and adds DoIP alongside CAN-FD. If your work is mostly diagnostics, resets and active tests on mainstream platforms, the Pro is the right tool. If you regularly need advanced calibrations and DoIP-based platforms, look at the Master.

Software Updates and Subscription

Core OBD2 diagnostics - full system code reading, I/M readiness, engine checks, performance tests and repair information - stay free for the life of the tool. Advanced features such as bi-directional control, service resets, live data and code clearing are included for one year of free software updates; after that they continue with an active subscription, which also keeps hardware protection in force. Gateway (FCA / Nissan) authorization is billed separately by the gateway provider.
