The Power Probe IV Master Combo Kit (PPKIT04) pairs the Power Probe 4 circuit tester with the ECT3000 short and open circuit tracer, plus a set of probe and clip accessories, in one kit for automotive electrical diagnostics.
What it does
- Power Probe 4 tests motors, lights, relays, sensors and fuel injectors.
- Supplies power and ground for functional component testing on or off the vehicle.
- 23 ft (7 m) cable reaches from bumper to bumper on the vehicle.
- ECT3000 traces short and open circuits without having to remove panels, carpets, or molding to expose wires.
- ECT3000 sensitivity adjustment for tuning detection.
- The PP4 and ECT3000 work together for pinpointing breaks in wiring using the PP4's PPECT Mode.
- The transmitter sends a signal toward the problem circuit; the receiver indicates the direction of the short to ground.
